Bromley Lettings & Estate Agents

Daniels Property Services is an independent, family run estate and lettings agency that has been serving Bromley and the surrounding area for over twenty years. The local demand for properties to buy and to rent is at its highest since before the credit crunch. So for any landlords or vendors wishing to capitalize on the sale or rental value of their property, there has never been a better time.

Bromley is London’s largest borough at 58 square miles and is one of the richest. A major metropolitan centre close to London, it will always be a popular choice for tenants and buyers alike. Charing Cross is only 9.3 miles away and Victoria is just 17 minutes from Bromley South station.

The standard of education in the borough is high and many people move there to be in the catchment area of the many primary and secondary schools rated outstanding by Ofsed.  Bromley has two super selective secondary schools (Newstead Wood for girls and St Olave’s for boys although both have mixed sixth forms) which are each top performers in the state school league tables.

For relaxing and leisure, Bromley has much to offer. Half the borough is Green Belt countryside. And close to the pedestrianised Bromley town centre is the Pavilion Leisure centre with its gym and swimming pool. The Churchill Theatre has a packed programme of plays, comedies and musicals and often features productions either just before or after their run in London’s west end. The Central Library is well stocked and offers adult reading groups and children’s activities.  And for film fans there is the four screen Empire cinema.

Intu is Bromley’s under cover shopping mall over two floors featuring Marks & Spencer and Debenhams as well as many smaller clothing and jewellery stores and restaurants amongst others.

Bromley borough has been the birth place or home of numerous famous authors, singers/musicians and scientists. H G Wells, author of The War of The Worlds, was born there.  Enid Blyton spent her childhood in Beckenham and Charles  Darwin wrote On The Origin of Species whilst living at Down House which is open to the public.

Bromley’s most famous musical son is David Bowie who was a resident in 1953. Bowie attended Burnt Ash Junior School where his voice was considered "adequate" by the school choir and his recorder playing judged to demonstrate above-average musical ability!

In the famous Monty Python Spam sketch Bromley is the location of the fictional Green Midget Café, where every item on the menu features spam!  In another Monty Python sketch it is stated that all seven continents are visible from the top of the Kentish Times building in Bromley.

We're very proud to serve as expert local estate and letting agents for this extraordinary borough.
